Technology drives digital transformation in construction and IT sectors

In Vietnam, construction firms like Phuc Hung Holdings and Coteccons are adopting digital tools to improve management and safety. Phuc Hung Holdings has implemented Face ID systems for worker security, alongside proprietary software like iReport for real-time safety data and iOffice for administrative synchronization. The company also utilizes AI cameras and drones to monitor site safety and detect violations.

Meanwhile, India’s $315 billion IT sector is facing a paradigm shift due to artificial intelligence. Major firms including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, HCLTech, and Cognizant are transitioning from traditional hourly-based billing models to outcome-based pricing. As AI automates tasks, clients are demanding higher productivity and lower costs rather than paying for large numbers of low-cost engineers. For instance, TCS reported that approximately 80% of its contracts in finance, HR, and enterprise services are now tied to actual performance metrics.
