TecNM and CECyTEM sign agreement for student academic continuity

The National Technological Institute of Mexico (TecNM) and the College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Mexico (CECyTEM) have signed a Student Free Transit Agreement to facilitate academic continuity. This agreement allows graduates from CECyTE to transition into higher education at TecNM institutions.

Initially benefiting students in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, the measure includes curricular articulation, subject revalidation through competencies, and access to both in-person and online modalities. The agreement also provides for the shared use of laboratories, workshops, and other facilities across 17 technological centers in the Valley of Mexico and Toluca.

Beyond academic mobility, the partnership focuses on teacher training and joint research linked to Development Poles for Well-being. The initiative aims to provide students with micro-credentials and certifications to strengthen their profiles for the productive sector.
