TecNM academic and cultural initiatives

Overview

The National Technological Institute of Mexico (TecNM) has expanded its institutional scope through academic partnerships and cultural initiatives.

In August 2026, TecNM signed a Student Free Transit Agreement with the College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Mexico (CECyTEM). This agreement facilitates academic continuity by allowing CECyTE graduates to transition into higher education at TecNM institutions. The partnership includes curricular articulation, subject revalidation, and shared access to laboratories and workshops across 17 technological centers in the Valley of Mexico and Toluca. These activities included dance performances by the Nanahuatzin delegation in the State of Mexico and a donation of local literary works to the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana to support its Reading Circles Program.
