TecNM institutions implement teacher training and student skill workshops

Educational institutions under the National Technological Institute of Mexico (TecNM) are implementing various training and skill-building initiatives for students and faculty.

In Minatitlán, Veracruz, the Instituto Tecnológico de Minatitlán hosted a workshop for teachers from School Zone 064 focused on the “Prevention and Attention of Gender Violence against Women.” The program aims to provide tools to identify and address violence within educational settings. Additionally, the institute announced plans for a Technology Fair for basic education students using the STEAM model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) to encourage interest in innovation.

In Múzquiz, Coahuila, students from the TecNM Campus Múzquiz participated in workshops organized by the Secretaría de las Mujeres and Centro LIBRE. These sessions focused on practical skills such as embroidery, weaving, sewing, and crafts, intended to foster creativity and provide personal development opportunities outside of traditional academic curricula.
