Tedi Blushi accuses Edi Rama of undermining state institutions via KAYO

Tedi Blushi, Secretary General of the Freedom Party, has issued a sharp critique regarding the state-owned company KAYO, characterizing the situation as a threat to the foundations of the Albanian state. Blushi alleges that KAYO functions as a mechanism for the misappropriation of public funds and the blurring of political and private interests.

Blushi specifically accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of creating a system that undermines institutional control over public finances. He further claimed that the situation poses a risk to national security, alleging that Ron Yeffet holds significant de facto power across multiple key sectors, including defense, finance, and energy.

The opposition leader described the matter not merely as a financial scandal, but as a systemic issue involving the suppression of law and institutional oversight. Blushi has called for continued parliamentary and institutional pressure to address these allegations.
