Teggiano hosts 31st edition of medieval festival

The 31st edition of the medieval festival ‘Alla Tavola della Principessa Costanza’ has commenced in Teggiano, Italy. Held from August 11 to 13, the event recreates the atmosphere of the year 1480 to celebrate the wedding of Costanza di Montefeltro and Antonello Sanseverino.

Thousands of visitors from various Italian regions attended the inaugural evening. A highlight of the festivities is the ‘Assalto al Castello’ (Assault on the Castle), an event supported by funding from the Campania Region. The festival is organized by Pro Loco Teggiano and aims to blend tradition with innovation to preserve the historical identity of the Vallo di Diano area.
