The festival officially commenced on 11 August, drawing thousands of visitors from various Italian regions for the inaugural evening. The event, which recreates the atmosphere of the year 1480, includes the ‘Assalto al Castello’ (Assault on the Castle), an activity supported by funding from the Campania Region. Organized by Pro Loco Teggiano, the festival aims to blend tradition with innovation to preserve the historical identity of the Vallo di Diano area.
