Tehran police dismantle professional car theft ring

Tehran police have dismantled a professional car theft ring involving four members. According to Colonel Ali Aqili, head of the Second Criminal Investigation Base of Greater Tehran, the gang specialized in stealing vehicles in Tehran and transporting them to various other provinces.

Following intelligence gathering and judicial authorization, coordinated operations were conducted across several counties. During the operation, investigators recovered one passenger car that was confirmed to have a history of theft. The suspects have confessed to the crimes and are currently under judicial supervision as investigations continue to identify further accomplices and recover additional stolen vehicles.
