Tehran Stock Exchange to facilitate entry of large digital economy firms

Mahmoud Gudarzi, CEO of the Tehran Stock Exchange, announced plans to facilitate the entry of large digital economy companies into the stock market. He stated that the exchange is prepared to welcome these entities provided that valuation processes and base pricing adhere to capital market standards.

Key upcoming developments include the planned initial public offering (IPO) of Star Gulf Persian Refinery in the coming months, once current foreign currency obligations and debts are resolved. Additionally, the pharmaceutical company Darvand is scheduled for an IPO next week. Gudarzi noted that the exchange aims to list 12 to 13 companies by the end of 2026.

Regarding the digital sector, Digikala has been accepted into the Tehran Stock Exchange following necessary approvals from relevant authorities. The CEO emphasized that resolving obstacles for digital economy firms is a priority to ensure transparency and market growth.
