Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claims multiple attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that resulted in the deaths of at least 10 Pakistani security personnel and several injuries.

In Karak district, a major operation in the Charpara area led to an exchange of fire during a raid on a terrorist hideout. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police confirmed that four law enforcement officers—including Counter-Terrorism Department Deputy Superintendent of Police Imranuddin Khan, Station House Officer Afzal Awan, Constable Kazim, and Head Constable Amjab—were killed during the encounter. Two terrorists were also reported dead.

Other reported incidents include an ambush on a three-vehicle Pakistan Army convoy in North Waziristan's Garyum district, which killed three soldiers and destroyed one vehicle. In South Waziristan, attacks on military posts in Sararogha and Toi Khula resulted in two soldiers killed and two injured.

Additional violence was reported in Bannu, where a motorcycle bomb targeted a police armored vehicle, wounding four personnel, and in Dera Ismail Khan, where a police officer was killed during an attack on a check post. A sniper attack in Khyber district also claimed the life of a soldier.
