TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions conclude in Diyarbakır

The TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions have concluded in Diyarbakır, featuring 677 finalist teams from 13 different countries, including the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Georgia, and Greece. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, the event included various categories such as robotics, jet engine design, biotechnology, chip design, and artificial intelligence in aviation and health.

In the 'Technologies for the Benefit of Humanity' competition, which saw over 189,000 applications, 101 teams reached the finals to present projects in fields like space technologies and environmental awareness. Additionally, the NSosyal Innovation Competition focused on the future of digital platforms, with 22 teams from Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan advancing to the finals to develop AI-supported social media solutions.

Industry leaders, including Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and TEKNOFEST Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, visited the finalists to review their projects. Winners from these competitions will receive their awards during the TEKNOFEST Southeast event scheduled to take place at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport between September 30 and October 4, 2026.
