TEKNOFEST events launch in Kocaeli and Siirt

TEKNOFEST events are currently underway across Turkey, featuring major technological and defense demonstrations. In Kocaeli, the TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan festival is being held at the Gölcük Shipyard Command from August 20 to 23. The event includes a significant naval parade in the İzmit Gulf, where Turkish Navy platforms such as the TCG Anadolu, TCG Heybeliada, TCG Derya, and TCG Preveze will participate. The parade is accompanied by aerial demonstrations from domestic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) including the Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, and AKINCI, as well as flight displays by the Turkish Stars.

Corporate participants like OYAK companies, including Erdemir and Miilux OY, are showcasing advancements in maritime and defense materials, such as high-performance ship and submarine steels. Additionally, university students are competing in categories like Unmanned Sea Vehicles and Underwater Rocket competitions.

Simultaneously, in Siirt, the TEKNOFEST Fighting UAV Competition has commenced at Siirt Airport. Running from August 18 to September 3, the competition features various categories such as the Fighting UAV Stars Competition, where young designers showcase UAVs they have developed from software to hardware. The event is organized under the leadership of Baykar and hosted by the Siirt Governor's Office.
