TEKNOFEST UAV finals to begin in Malatya

The TEKNOFEST International and Inter-High School Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Competitions are set to begin in Malatya, Turkey, at Tulga Airport from September 8 to 13. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, with TÜBİTAK acting as the executor, the event aims to integrate young talent into the UAV technology ecosystem.

Following more than 7,000 applications, 113 teams have reached the finals. The competition includes an Inter-High School category, where 55 finalist teams from 22 Turkish provinces will compete, and an International category, where 58 finalists from Turkey, Bangladesh, and Indonesia will participate.

Participants will compete in three distinct categories: Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, and Free Mission. Teams will be evaluated on various technical criteria, including technical proficiency, autonomy levels, flight performance, innovation, and originality.
