Telangana BRS leaders claim Congress government has broken promises and delayed health scheme

BRS MLA and former minister T. Harish Rao said the Telangana government has postponed the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) despite deducting 1.5% from salaries and pensions, and urged immediate rollout, issuance of health cards and refunds for contributions made. He also criticised delays in pay revisions, dearness allowances, pension reforms and other welfare measures promised in the Congress manifesto.

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused the Congress state administration of losing public trust by failing to fulfil any pre‑election promises to women, farmers, students and unemployed youth. He highlighted the government's alleged neglect of drought‑stricken agriculture, controversial remarks about shedding blood for water, and announced a series of public meetings, including a youth convention, to expose these shortcomings.
