Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a comprehensive scheme to boost women’s self‑help groups (SHGs). The programme includes the virtual foundation‑laying of 8,000 Mahila Grama Sangham buildings across the state and the launch of corporate‑model “Indira Mahila Shakti Super Bazaars” in all 119 constituency headquarters.

The government will double the bank‑linkage loan ceiling for SHGs from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh, having already facilitated loans worth ₹60,472 crore and disbursed ₹1,390 crore under interest‑free schemes. Up to 1,000 RTC buses will be allocated to women groups, with 553 buses slated for handover on June 5, creating a rental income stream for the collectives. Additional measures include a V‑Hub incubator programme for women entrepreneurs and plans for rice mills, warehouses and logistics centres in every mandal, all aimed at creating a crore women crorepatis by 2034.
