Telangana CM Revanth Reddy directs rice miller debt recovery and housing initiatives

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has initiated several administrative and welfare measures across the state. Regarding agricultural logistics, the Chief Minister has directed officials to recover outstanding dues from defaulting rice millers under the Custom Milled Rice system. He proposed a policy to potentially take over defaulting mills and reassign milling responsibilities to women’s self-help groups.

In terms of urban development, the government launched the Indiramma Indlu housing programme, aiming to provide one lakh permanent houses to economically weaker and lower-middle-income families within Hyderabad.

On the political front, Reddy has urged Congress workers to maintain vigilance during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. He alleged that certain political forces are attempting to influence the process to exclude eligible voters. This comes amid heightened political tension, including social media disputes between the Congress, BRS, and BJP parties regarding state development and leadership.
