Telangana CM Revanth Reddy unveils Hyderabad bus terminal and flyover projects

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a 100‑acre international bus terminal at Gajularamaram, part of a Rs 1,674.74 crore development plan that also includes construction of 100,000 new homes for low‑ and middle‑income families and the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. The CM said the terminal will modernise inter‑city travel and support the city’s growth over the next 24 months.

In the same session he laid foundation stones for two major road‑infrastructure projects in the Cyberabad area, together valued at Rs 838 crore. The first is a six‑lane flyover linking Miyapur and Allwyn Cross Roads, costing about Rs 530 crore, designed to ease severe congestion on NH‑65 that serves key IT corridors. The second is a Rs 308 crore road overbridge near Lingampally railway station, featuring a four‑lane bridge and two‑kilometre road widening to improve traffic flow and prevent monsoon flooding. Both projects aim to reduce travel times, fuel consumption and accidents while boosting connectivity with the metro and public transport networks.
