Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Visits Delhi for AICC Meeting as Congress Praises Governance

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy travelled to New Delhi accompanied by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Mahesh Kumar Goud to attend an All India Congress Committee (AICC) meeting, marking his 74th visit to the capital since taking office. The meeting focused on party organisation, coordination between the state unit and the national leadership, and discussions on ongoing political matters in Telangana.

The Congress high command praised the state government's welfare programmes, citing the Mahalakshmi free‑bus scheme for over 30 lakh women, the Gruha Jyothi free‑power scheme for more than 50 lakh households, the free rice distribution reaching 3.39 crore people each month, and the Indiramma housing scheme constructing over 7 lakh homes. The AICC also warned about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, urging vigilance to prevent eligible voters from being disenfranchised, noting that about 31 lakh forms remain uncollectible in Telangana.
