Telangana police reorganize Future City and Hyderabad commissionerates

The Telangana government has approved a significant reorganization of the Future City Police Commissionerate. The restructuring includes the creation of three new law-and-order divisions in Amangal, Kothur, and Moinabad, as well as a new Aziz Nagar police station. To enhance specialized services, three dedicated women police stations will be established in the Maheshwaram, Shadnagar, and Chevella zones.

The traffic infrastructure is also being expanded, with the existing single traffic zone splitting into two zones. New traffic divisions and stations are being established in Chevella, Shadnagar, Maheshwaram, Moinabad, Kothur, and Amangal.

In a separate administrative move within the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, City Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar has ordered the immediate transfer of 16 inspector-rank officers. These Station House Officers (SHOs) and detective inspectors have been reassigned to various zones and units, including the Special Branch, Task Force, and several local police stations such as Balapur, Rajendranagar, and Jubilee Hills.
