Telecinco prepares new game show ‘Rueda la letra’

Mediaset is advancing preparations for its new Telecinco game show, ‘Rueda la letra’, which incorporates the famous ‘El Rosco’ mechanic following a Supreme Court ruling regarding ‘Pasapalabra’.

Recent filings with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) reveal that the network has registered eight potential names for the show's preliminary rounds, including options such as ‘La rueda de las palabras’, ‘Palabras ocultas’, and ‘Sin palabras’. Additionally, Mediaset has registered a new logo for the format. The logo design prominently features a circular element intended to evoke the iconic ‘Rosco’ visual to attract existing audiences, utilizing a color palette of blue and magenta.

Carlos Soberas is set to host the program. While the core mechanic remains similar to its predecessor, the show's specific structure and the final name for the signature ‘Rosco’ segment have not yet been officially confirmed.
