Telekom launches Smart Connect S children's smartwatch package

The market for children's smartwatches focuses on balancing entertainment with safety features such as GPS tracking, geofencing, and SOS buttons. Key manufacturers in this sector include Xplora, Anio, Garmin, and imoo, with emphasis placed on intuitive operation, battery life, and lightweight design.

To coincide with the start of the school season, Telekom has introduced the Smart Connect S package. This offering combines a children's smartwatch with a mobile plan that includes 1 GB of data, an all-net flat rate, and a tracking flat. The service is designed to allow controlled communication, where children can only contact pre-approved contacts. The package also includes a 60-euro Amazon voucher to assist with school-related expenses.
