Tea Tek leads QUANTIA quantum computing and AI project in Italy
The Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy has approved the QUANTIA (QUANTum Infrastructure & Artificial Intelligence Alliance) project, led by Tea Tek. The initiative is funded through the Sustainable Growth Fund – Innovation Agreements.
QUANTIA aims to integrate quantum computing with artificial intelligence by developing hardware, software, and control systems to enhance the scalability of quantum architectures. The project seeks to establish a significant industrial quantum computing hub in Naples, building upon previous work conducted at the University of Naples Federico II.
The partnership includes Tea Tek, the new entity Italian Green Factory, the University of Naples Federico II’s Department of Physics “Ettore Pancini”, Agilae, and Virtual IT Consulting. The project is part of a reindustrialization effort at the former Whirlpool site, transforming it into a platform for high-innovation industrial chains. Total eligible costs for the program are approximately 5.99 million euros, with 3.71 million euros in incentives.
