Televisión Pública to revert to Canal 7 name

Argentina's state broadcaster, Televisión Pública, will officially change its name back to Canal 7. The rebranding is scheduled for October 17, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the country's first official television transmission in 1951.

The transition will involve a complete overhaul of the station's commercial and institutional brand, including a redesign of its logo, graphics, and overall visual aesthetic. This strategic shift aims to reclaim the historic name used by the station for decades, moving away from the 'TVP' branding used in recent years.
