Telkom Indonesia accelerates streamlining of 50 subsidiaries
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is accelerating a streamlining program involving 50 of its subsidiary entities. This restructuring is part of the company’s transition from an Operating Holding to a Strategic Holding model, aligned with the portfolio management directions of Danantara Asset Management (DAM) and the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Body (BP BUMN).
As of the first half of 2026, Telkom has completed the streamlining of 24 entities, with the remaining 26 expected to be processed by the second half of 2026. The initiative aims to reduce management complexity, eliminate overlapping business lines, and increase operational efficiency. The restructuring will organize the business into four primary segments: B2C, B2B Infrastructure, B2B ICT, and International.
Telkom CEO Nanang Hendarno stated that the process involves a thorough evaluation of each entity to ensure relevance to core business, contribution to group value, and clear future prospects. This transformation is intended to support Telkom’s goal of achieving a valuation exceeding Rp550 trillion by 2030.
