Telkom Indonesia expands GoZero% sustainability program in Klangon

Telkom Indonesia is expanding its GoZero% sustainability initiative through the GoZero% Goes to Klangon program in Bukit Klangon, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Building on efforts started in 2025, the current phase focuses on environmental conservation, waste management, and the development of the GoZero% EcoCamp Klangon.

The program emphasizes teaching local communities and tourists to sort waste into four specific categories: organic, inorganic, residue, and hazardous waste (B3). To ensure long-term impact, Telkom is collaborating with academic institutions, including Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), to provide community assistance in managing waste independently. This includes converting organic waste into economically valuable compost.
