Telkom Indonesia spins off Rp85.7 trillion in infrastructure assets to InfraNexia
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has officially signed a spin-off deed to transfer more than 90% of its network infrastructure assets to PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia, known as InfraNexia. The transaction involves assets valued at approximately Rp85.7 trillion.
The consolidated infrastructure includes roughly 112,000 kilometers of fiber optic networks and 26,000 kilometers of domestic submarine cable communication systems. This move, approved by Telkom's independent shareholders, aims to establish InfraNexia as a major wholesale digital infrastructure provider in Indonesia.
Telkom CEO Nanang Hendarno stated that the separation is intended to sharpen business focus and increase asset productivity, ultimately driving higher revenue contributions to the TelkomGroup B2B infrastructure segment. The consolidation is also expected to provide greater flexibility for digital ecosystem collaboration and support Indonesia's digital sovereignty.
