Telltale Games announces The Wolf Among Us Remastered

Telltale Games has announced that 'The Wolf Among Us Remastered' is scheduled for release on October 29, 2026. According to game designer Matt Saia, the project involves more than a simple resolution increase; instead, all characters have been rebuilt from the ground up with new concepts, detailed modeling, and updated textures.

Key improvements include refined animations, updated environments, and entirely new lighting for every scene. While the character models for figures like Bigby Wolf and Snow White feature significantly more detail than the originals, Telltale emphasizes that this is a remaster rather than a remake, as the original story, direction, and visual identity remain preserved. The release serves to honor the studio's legacy and prepare audiences for the upcoming 'The Wolf Among Us 2' next year.
