Pertamina Patra Niaga raises Pertamax price in Indonesia

On 10 June 2026 Pertamina Patra Niaga increased the retail price of its non‑subsidised Pertamax gasoline (RON 92) from Rp 12 300 to Rp 16 250 per litre, and Pertamax Green 95 from Rp 12 900 to Rp 17 000. The company said the adjustment follows the government‑approved formula that links non‑subsidised fuel prices to global crude‑oil movements and domestic economic indicators.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) reiterated that the price of non‑subsidised fuels, including Pertamax, will drop if world oil prices fall, quoting spokesperson Dwi Anggia: “When the world oil price falls, the price of non‑subsidised fuel will certainly drop.” The ministry also noted ongoing efforts to keep subsidised fuels such as Pertalite and Biosolar stable.

Pertamina Patra Niaga emphasised that price reviews are conducted monthly and that the current increase reflects a 50 % share of the international market price gap, while still keeping Indonesian fuel prices competitive with neighbouring ASEAN countries. The hike has raised concerns among middle‑class consumers about purchasing power.
