Temerloh trailer driver charged with four counts of murder

A 52-year-old trailer driver, Zulkarnain Md Noh, has been charged with four counts of murder following a massive collision on the East Coast Expressway 1 (LPT1) at Kilometer 110.3 in Temerloh.

The accident, which involved 11 vehicles, resulted in the deaths of Muhammad Nazatullah Nazmi, his wife Nur Atiqah Sofiya Mohd Kazwan, their 4-year-old son Muhammad Armaan Nazeef, and Seow Beng Wai.

Due to medical treatment requirements, the prosecution proceedings were conducted at Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (Hoshas). The charges fall under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a potential death sentence or imprisonment of 30 to 40 years, along with whipping. The court has scheduled a mention for the case on November 12.
