Italy issues multiple stadium bans following various violent incidents
In Milan, an unprovoked attack occurred near the Bastioni di Porta Venezia and Viale Vittorio Veneto. An individual in an altered state attacked a young couple, striking a woman five times. Witnesses noted that the aggressor fled after being deterred by a dog and subsequently attacked another person. Local residents expressed growing fear, citing the area as a known drug zone.
Separately, Italian authorities have issued several DASPO bans (stadium bans) following various incidents of violence. In Milan, six individuals associated with AC Milan Ultras received bans for the March 8 assault on journalist Klaus Davi during his investigation into organized crime infiltration in football fan groups.
Other bans were issued in Perugia following a brawl during a regional amateur football match, and in Siena, where nine young supporters were banned after being found with weapons, including knives and clubs, during a match in Badesse.
