Tencent WorkBuddy AI Office Suite Released on Huawei HarmonyOS PC, Meituan Introduces CatPaw AI Agent Platform

Tencent announced that its WorkBuddy AI‑powered desktop office suite is now available in Huawei's HarmonyOS (Hongmeng) PC AppGallery. The launch makes WorkBuddy the first AI office assistant on the HarmonyOS platform and introduces a unique "Touch‑to‑Share" feature that leverages the operating system's low‑level capabilities.

Meituan revealed its new AI Agent platform, CatPaw, which is offered as a standalone mobile app and a PC client. The service provides an always‑on cloud environment that can execute long‑running and scheduled tasks, synchronize work across devices, and apply Meituan's local‑life industry knowledge to automate tasks such as store evaluation, marketing material generation, and data analysis. Security measures include isolated execution environments, strict data segregation, and centralized credential management to meet enterprise compliance requirements.
