Tencent WorkBuddy expands globally and integrates with iFLYTEK AI glasses

Tencent’s WorkBuddy has expanded its international availability, marking a strategic move toward global AI agent services. The platform is positioned as a cost-effective alternative to Western productivity tools.

In a significant ecosystem development, Tencent has launched the WorkBuddy open platform, introducing over one hundred partners. Among the first to integrate is iFLYTEK’s AI glasses. This collaboration connects wearable hardware with WorkBuddy’s AI Agent capabilities to automate office workflows.

The iFLYTEK glasses utilize multimodal lip-movement recognition and intelligent noise reduction to capture high-fidelity audio in complex environments. Supporting 122 languages and dialects via the iFLYTEK Spark Large Model, the hardware captures real-time dialogue, which is then processed by WorkBuddy to generate structured meeting minutes, task breakdowns, and follow-up action items.
