Tenerife offers free cultural event management course for youth

The Cabildo de Tenerife, through its Department of Training and Youth, is launching a free course titled ‘Cultural Event Management: Resources for Cultural Programming’. The program is designed for residents of Tenerife aged 16 to 35.

Running from September 1 to September 30, the 40-hour course will be conducted in a hybrid format, consisting of 32 hours of online learning and eight hours of in-person sessions at the Youth Information Center. The curriculum covers practical tools for planning, organizing, and coordinating cultural activities, including event organization techniques, task planning, and information management.

Serafín Mesa, the Counselor for Training and Youth, noted that the initiative aims to provide young people with professional competencies in the growing cultural and creative industries, which generate significant economic activity. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis with limited spots available.
