Terme di Comano celebrates 200 years and restores Antica Fonte

The Terme di Comano are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the legacy left by G. B. Mattei. To mark this bicentennial, the Azienda Consorziale is inaugurating the restored Antica Fonte, a symbolic site of the thermal baths, following a significant redevelopment project aimed at enhancing its historical and architectural value.

The commemorative program includes the presentation of the book ‘Caro vecchio Grande Albergo Terme’, curated by Graziano Riccadonna, which explores the history and memory of the thermal hospitality landmark in the context of the Valle Giudicarie. The event serves to demonstrate that the thermal baths remain a living public heritage.
