Terme di Comano bicentennial and restoration

Overview

The Terme di Comano is celebrating its bicentennial, marking 200 years since Giovanni Battista Mattei donated the thermal baths to the population of Giudicarie Esteriori on August 29, 1826.

To commemorate this anniversary, the Azienda Consorziale has undertaken a redevelopment project to restore the Antica Fonte, a symbolic site of the thermal baths, to enhance its historical and architectural value. The restoration project received support from the Autonomous Province of Trento.

The celebrations included the presentation of the book ‘Caro vecchio Grande Albergo Terme’ by Graziano Riccadonna, which explores the history and identity of the thermal hospitality landmark within the context of the Valle Giudicarie.
