Terme di Comano inaugurates restored Antica Fonte

The Terme di Comano has officially inaugurated the restored Antica Fonte, marking the conclusion of a celebratory season for the facility’s bicentennial. The restoration project aimed to recover the historical and architectural value of the site.

The project received support from the Autonomous Province of Trento. During the event, the book ‘Caro vecchio Grande Albergo Terme’ by Graziano Riccadonna was presented, offering historical accounts and testimonies regarding the identity of the location.

The bicentennial celebration commemorates the legacy of Giovanni Battista Mattei, who donated the Terme di Comano to the population of the Giudicarie Esteriori on August 29, 1826.
