Teror and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria celebrate Fiestas del Pino

The municipality of Teror and the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria are holding traditional celebrations for the Fiestas del Pino. As part of the 74th Romería Ofrenda del Pino, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria participated with a float carrying 340 kilograms of fruit and vegetables, which will be donated to social and charitable institutions.

The festivities, recognized as a National Tourist Interest event, include a solemn mass led by Bishop José Mazuelos and a procession in honor of Nuestra Señora del Pino, the patron saint of the Diocese of the Canary Islands and Gran Canaria. The event features military parades and the ‘Petalada’, a tradition where thousands of rose petals are showered upon the procession.
