Terrassa's Minyons target debut of 4de9 tower at Festa Major

The Minyons de Terrassa will open the July Festa Major with an ambitious programme of extra‑high human towers. They plan to debut the 4de9 with folre, a structure they have never performed this season, followed by the 2de9 with folre and manilles and the 3de9 with folre. In the pillar round they aim to attempt a 7‑tower with folre, a feat they have only managed twice since the pandemic.

The guest group, the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls, will join the event, while the Castellers de Terrassa intend to unload their first basic 8‑tower (4de8) of the year. Their schedule also includes a range of other performances in nearby towns such as Cornudella de Montsant, El Vendrell and Barberà del Vallès, making the weekend a focal point for Catalonia’s casteller season.
