Terrion Arnold looks for new NFL team after Lions release

Former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold, the 2024 first‑round pick, was released by the Lions and placed on the NFL waiver wire. Arnold faces multiple felony charges in Florida, including armed robbery and kidnapping, and is currently under bond conditions. His attorney, Harvey Steinberg, said three other NFL clubs have expressed interest and expects Arnold could sign with a new team within the next 30 days. Potential destinations mentioned include the New York Jets, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, each looking to add depth to their secondary.

If Arnold clears waivers, any of these teams could sign him, providing him an opportunity to continue his NFL career despite the ongoing legal issues.
