TESK President Palandöken warns of student safety risks

Bendevi Palandöken, President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), has issued warnings to tradesmen and families regarding student safety ahead of the new academic year.

Addressing the start of the educational term, Palandöken emphasized the need to protect approximately 18 million students from bad habits and illegal influences. He urged local tradesmen near schools to prevent the sale of products from pirate sellers or illegal organizations that promote addiction.

Furthermore, he called on parents to maintain close contact with teachers and school-parent associations. He also highlighted the importance of monitoring students' social circles and movements, while noting that school shuttle services must ensure safe transportation for children.
