Tesla expands robotaxi program to Dallas, Houston and Austin

Tesla has expanded its robotaxi service to Dallas and Houston, launching autonomous rides in these Texas markets.

In Austin, the unsupervised fleet has grown to 13 vehicles, after a period when counts hovered around 8-10. Three more were added in the last 10 days, with an expected total of about 20 unsupervised robotaxis by mid next week.

U.S. safety regulator NHTSA reported no accidents in the February–mid-March window.

There are hundreds of Cybercabs ready to roll into Austin.
