Tesla's Full Self-Driving subscriptions near 1.5 million worldwide

Tesla announced that its Full Self-Driving (FSD) software now has close to 1.5 million active subscriptions, after a record addition of about 200,000 users in the second quarter. The growth represents a 56 % year‑over‑year increase and the largest quarter‑over‑quarter jump in the program’s history. In North America, roughly 55 % of vehicles delivered in Q2 were equipped with an active FSD subscription at the time of purchase. The company has shifted to a subscription‑only model, with about 45 % of users paying $99 per month, generating over $65 million in monthly revenue and roughly $791 million annually. FSD is now available in twelve countries, with further approvals sought. Tesla delivered 480,126 vehicles worldwide in Q2, bringing the total fleet to around 9.7 million, so the FSD adoption rate is about 15 % of all Teslas on the road.
