Teun Koopmeiners linked with Premier League and Turkish clubs as Juventus seeks sale
Juventus midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, signed from Atalanta for €55 million in the summer of 2024, has fallen out of favour under manager Luciano Spalletti. He made only 18 Serie A starts last season and recorded no goal contributions, prompting the club to consider off‑loading the Dutch midfielder.
Premier League sides, including Aston Villa, Manchester United and Newcastle United, are reported to be monitoring his situation and may submit offers in the coming weeks. In addition, clubs from Istanbul in Turkey have also shown interest. Juventus has indicated it would entertain a bid of around €30 million, aiming to recoup part of its investment while freeing up space in the squad.
The player and his representatives have not confirmed any negotiations, but the transfer window is expected to see intensified activity around his possible move.
