The winner has opted for the cash value option, which totals $14,303,717.61 before taxes. The claimant has 180 days to collect the prize.

Separately, the Powerball grand prize has reached an estimated annuitized $1 billion for the August 12 drawing, representing the eighth-largest jackpot in the game's history. The estimated cash value for this drawing is $433.1 million. If no winner is declared, the jackpot for the August 15 drawing is expected to rise to $1.12 billion.
