Thai highway police intercepted a Hyundai van carrying 464 kilograms of methamphetamine, valued at approximately 500 million baht, in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. The seizure occurred at a traffic intersection in Mueang District after the driver attempted to evade authorities by crashing into a residential fence.

The suspect, a 23-year-old man, confessed to being paid 500,000 baht to transport the drugs from Mae Sai to Songkhla province. He had reportedly stayed overnight in Ratchaburi and intended to travel to Chumphon before his arrest.
