Thailand and Singapore PMs perform music at leaders' retreat

During the Thailand-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat in Bangkok, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong engaged in a musical performance during an official dinner. Anutin sang songs by The Beatles and Bob Dylan, specifically “Let It Be” and “Blowin’ in the Wind,” while Wong accompanied him on the guitar.

The informal moment occurred at Government House following formal discussions between the two leaders. Beyond the musical exchange, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong stated that bilateral ties are in “excellent shape.” He noted that both nations intend to develop a multi-year agenda for ASEAN, as Singapore is scheduled to chair the regional group in 2027, followed by Thailand in 2028.
