Thailand orders deportation of French national Kevin Dimino

Thailand has ordered the deportation of Kevin Dimino, a French national and manager of the Samui Exotic Park on Koh Samui. The deportation order was signed on September 7, 2026, by Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

Authorities cited several reasons for the expulsion, including behaviors that threaten public order, morality, and safety. Specifically, Dimino was accused of harassment, physical assault, and inciting racial and religious divisions. The conflict reportedly began when Dimino and his partner refused entry to Israeli tourists at their zoo and displayed a Palestinian flag.

In addition to the deportation order, the Koh Samui Provincial Court found Dimino guilty of violating the Land Traffic Act, resulting in a reduced fine of 5,000 baht after a guilty plea. The government stated that the decision follows a reinforced framework for managing foreign nationals who violate local laws and customs. Dimino has seven days to appeal the administrative order.
