Thailand railway line closed in Narathiwat after explosion

The State Railway of Thailand has announced a temporary closure of the railway line between Maruebo and Tanyong Mat stations in Narathiwat province. The closure follows an explosion that occurred overnight, causing damage to concrete railway sleepers.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams and security forces are currently scanning the area to ensure maximum safety. Once the area is secured, railway officials will begin repairs to restore service as quickly as possible. Passengers are advised to check train statuses via the State Railway of Thailand hotline before traveling.
