Thanh Hóa Market Authority cracks 487 smuggling and fraud cases, boosts credit and FTA support
The Thanh Hóa Market Management Authority reported that, since the start of 2026, it has investigated and resolved 487 violations involving smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, aiming to stabilise supply, prices and consumer rights. By the end of June, total credit arrears across the banking system approached VND 20 million trillion. The government also issued a decree detailing support measures for enterprises, cooperatives and households that leverage free‑trade agreements, while promoting OCOP products linked to regional value chains. Additionally, local officials highlighted the use of digital technology to manage and promote historical sites, enhancing tourism and heritage preservation.
