The Ascent announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Neon Giant, a creative studio under KRAFTON, Inc., has announced that the cyberpunk action-shooter RPG ‘The Ascent’ will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 3, 2026. The announcement was made during a Nintendo Direct.

The release will be titled ‘The Ascent Ultimate Edition’ and will be available exclusively in digital format via the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. This edition includes the base game along with three previously released DLCs: ‘Cyber Heist’, ‘CyberSec Pack’, and ‘Cyber Warrior Pack’.

Pre-orders are scheduled to begin on October 6, offering a 10% discount which brings the price to $26.99 until the official launch. The game supports single-player and up to four-player cooperative modes and will feature support for 10 languages. Additionally, a legacy patch for existing PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation versions is planned for release on November 19 to improve localization and fix identified issues.
